Eddie Delahoussaye is a celebrated American thoroughbred jockey. He has won races in two successive years at Kentucky Derby. In addition to all this he also won seven Breeders Cup races as well as 1992 Belmont Stakes and 1988 Preakness Stakes. He was honoured with George Woolf Memorial Jockey Award in 1981.The year 1993 saw his name being inducted in National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame. He has won 6,384 races. From the point of view of his monetary earnings he ranks sixth with an income of 195,881,170 in his career. The milestones in his career includes wining in races like Kentucky Oaks (1980, 1994), Hawthorne Gold Cup Handicap (1984), Jockey Club Gold Cup (1991), John C. Mabee Handicap (1987, 2002) etc.
