Elvis Trujillo is a thoroughbred horseracing jockey, who was graduated from the Laffit Pincay, Jr. Jockey School in 2000 and have won thirty five straight races in his native Panama and again fifty five in Mexico City before coming to the United States in 2001. He has won with his first US mount at Hollywood Park in the fall of 2001 and carried on making an impression while still an apprentice jockey in his home country. He posted his first winning title at the South Florida track and relocated to Churchill Downs in the quest for larger purses. In 2007, he clinched three graded stakes winning title on the same card at Calder Race Track.
