The 2011 coverage of the “Summer at Saratoga” series attracted such a large audience that NYRA and NBC Sports announced a two-year extension. The extension means that NYRA and NBC Sports will bring live national coverage of the four weeks of horse racing through 2013.
The coverage will be hosted by Tom Hammond, along with retired jockey Gary Stevens, handicapper/morning line provider Mike Battaglia, and reporter Kenny Rice. NBC will take the race call from Saratoga track announcer Tom Durkin.
Live coverage for the 2012 Summer at Saratoga series will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network and NBC. To kick off the live coverage, NBC Sports Network will be offering live Saturday and Sunday coverage on August 11th and 12th.
Props and future wager options are live for Summer at Saratoga betting online in the All Horse Racing sportsbook section. The online racebook wagering will be open after the post-position draw and morning line odds are released at All Horse Racing for win, place, show wagering with a 3% daily rebate win or lose!
