Louisville KY - Kentucky Derby Draw for post positions and the morning line odds took place are official.

Bodemeister is your Kentucky Derby 138 favorite after drawing post position #6 and is 4-1 on the morning line odds. Union Rags will be the second favorite at 9-2.

The controversial Trinniberg drew post #9 and will be the pace setter for the Derby but could also cause traffic problems for all other horses on the back side.

My Adonis is the only Also Eligible entry for the first ever “AE” Derby which would have allowed for four AE entries so we could have seen 24 horses listed in the draw instead of just 21. My Adonis morning line odds are 50-1, along with Liaison and Rousing Sermon.

When jockey Mike Smith was asked what he thought of Bodemeister drawing post #6 he said "We'll just have to stay off the break & see what happens."
