Greenwood Cup Handicap

The Greenwood Cup Stakes is a thoroughbred horseracing event that is run each year at Philadelphia Park Racetrack and is open to three-year-olds and up. This ungraded horseracing event is run at a distance of one and half miles on the dirt track and offers a purse of 200,000 and added 50,000 from the Breeders Cup. The Greenwood Cup is now included within the Breeders Cup Challenge series according to the norms forwarded by the Breeders Cup committee the winner of this stakes will automatically be qualified for the Breeders Cup Marathon.
