Notes:
The Lanes End Breeders Futurity is a popular thoroughbred horseracing event that is run at a distance of one and one sixteenth miles on the left-handed dirt track of Keeneland Race Course. This Grade 1 horseracing event is open to both sexes with age two year olds and carries a purse of 500,000. Now, Lanes End Breeders Futurity is a part of the Breeders Cup Challenge and it has been decided that the winner of this race will be qualified for the Breeders Cup Juvenile. The race was run for the first time at the Kentucky Association track in Lexington in 1910 and since then it was renewed through 1930. This racing event was shifted to the Latonia Race Track in Kentucky. This horseracing event was revived at Keeneland in the fall of 1938 and during the Second World War the race was a part of the Churchill Downs Fall meetings.
