Santa Catalina Stakes

The Santa Catalina Stakes is an American horseracing event that is run annually at a distance of one and one sixteenth miles on the dirt track of Santa Anita Park, California. This grade 2 thoroughbred horseracing meet is open to colts and geldings with age three and up and carries a purse of 200,000. At present this stakes is known as Robert B. Lewis Stakes. This stakes serves as a preparatory race for the Kentucky Derby.
