Thank You is still a maiden after five starts but was best of the rest behind Good Luck Gus at Finger Lakes. He has two other runner-up efforts in restricted races on his resume after an initial sixth-place finish on the grass behind eventual G3 Grey S. champ and Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf hopeful International Star. Bullheaded Boy was three quarters of a length ahead of Good Luck Gus when third in the Funny Cide then settled for second in the restricted Bertram F. Bongard S. here in the mud. Market Conduct failed as the favorite and checked in a non-threatening third in the Bongard after looking sharp in winning his debut. Breakin the Fever needed three starts to break his maiden but did so in a decisive score against New York-breds in the slop on this oval. He had the misfortune of hooking the aforementioned Upstart when third in his initial outing then completed the superfecta in a synthetic stakes at Presque Isle Downs. Ostrolenka didn t lift a hoof in the Saratoga mud then ran off the screen over this fast track at this distance. The 94 BRIS Speed Rating he earned in his maiden-breaker is the highest such number by any in this field. Bellamy Way was 14 lengths behind Ostrolenka in that contest and will need to really step up his game to compete with this bunch.
