Notes:
Remington Park s premiere race for juveniles attracted 11 talented youngsters headlined by Shotgun Kowboy, a two-time stakes winner already over this course. The gelded son of Kodiak Kowboy has only one blemish on his otherwise perfect four-race resume, and that was a close third here in the Kip Deville S. in late September. He followed that up with a romp against statebreds in the Oklahoma Classics Juvenile S. and a one-length victory in the Clever Trevor S. Bayerd got the better of Shotgun Kowboy in winning the Kip Deville but settled for second behind him in the Clever Trevor. He invades from Fair Grounds for the rubber match. Sky Full of Stars was a non-threatening fourth in the Clever Trevor and shows only one work since that Nov. 7 stakes. Super Stroke also comes out of that stakes in which he checked in sixth after being bumped in the stretch. Runaway Bling is the other Clever Trevor alumni here and showed absolutely nothing when beaten by 26 lengths. He did break his maiden at this track and distance. Supermason showed early promise and tried a restricted stakes at Lone Star Park in his third start. The Grasshopper gelding has been erratic in his six race career but exits a sharp victory in an optional claiming event here. Phenomenal Phoenix and Conbradulations are part of a coupled entry for owners Wayne Sanders and Larry Hirsch with Cliff Berry named to ride both. The former found the winner s circle in his second try, a 1m Remington maiden race. Conbradulations made a winning debut in a 6F contest on this oval then just failed to last when taking place honors in a 1m race. It ll Be Fine has raced on synthetic, turf and dirt and exits a nice win in an Aqueduct optional claimer moved to the main track. High Noon Rider ships in from New York after wiring the field to break his maiden in an off-the-turf contest at Aqueduct. Maiden Hillbilly Style is winless in six starts but has hit the board in three of those, including runner-up finishes in his last two, both at Churchill Downs.
