Notes: Davona Dale is a thoroughbr ed filly racehorse. This young filly gave a flying start at the age of two but could only post a single win in the racing season. But in the next year her astounding performanc e made thousands of spectators wonderstru ck - it was the year of Davona Dale. She took part in eight races and snatched the winning titles in all the races one after another. Davona Dale is considered as a proud winner of Triple Tiara of Thoroughbr ed Racing - Kentucky Oaks, Acron Stakes and Black-Eyed Susan Stakes. Considerin g her performanc e in 1979 she was awarded the Eclipse Award for Outstandin g 3-year-old -filly. Unfortunat e ly, she suffered from tendon and ankle injuries at the tender age of four this accident suddenly stopped a bright career. Anyhow, she competed in three races out of which she managed to snatch victory in Ballerina Handicap. After retiring from horseracin g, Davona Dale started serving stud - duties of a broodmare at Calumet Farm. She was inducted into the racings Hall of Fame by the United States Thoroughbr ed Horseracin g Authority.
