Notes:
In Feb. 12, 1981 Julie Krone won a race for the first time at Tampa Bay Downs aboard Lord Farkle. In fact she is the first woman to win the Triple Crown race. Being the only woman to ride in the Belmont Stakes she has reasons to be proud of.The year 2000 saw the name of Julie Krone inducted in the Racing Hall of Fame. The year 2002 witnessed her coming out of her hiatus and racing again. She then won in twenty races and with purses of 814,473 from 133 mounts. She is the first female jockey in Oak Tree history to ride five winners in a day, on Oct. 4, 2003. Her racing career was finished with over three thousand wins. She has also been awarded a multiple times for her remarkable achievements.
