Troy Taylor, a top trainer at Hastings who Mario has been the primary jockey for, is racing a stable at Santa Anita currently and this precipitated the move for Gutierrez. His win in the Robert B. Lewis stakes aboard I ll Have Another is his biggest victory to date. He is known as Marvelous Mario on the Canadian racing circuit.
