Notes:
The Matron Stakes is an American grade II horseracing meet that is run annually at Belmont Park. This race is for two-year-old thoroughbred fillies willing to race seven furlongs on the dirt. Prior to 1905, this race used to take place at Morris Park. It migrated to Pimlico Race Course in 1910 and at Aqueduct Racetrack in 1960 and from 1962 to 1968. The race was not run from 1895 to 1898, from 1991 to 1913 and from 1962 to 1968. This race is considered as the major preparatory race for the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies.
