Cigar Mile

The Cigar Mile is an American horseracing event that is raced annually at Aqueduct Racetrack, New York. This race is open to thoroughbred horses with an age three year olds and up, which are capable of racing one mile on the dirt. The name of the horseracing event has been granted in honor of the US Hall of Fame horse Cigar, who won the race in 1994 when it was known as NYRA Mile. In 1993, the Cigar Mile Handicap did not take place.
